Patented Real Time Traction Tool™

During snow and ice events, roadway conditions can deteriorate rapidly. Applying too much deicer can be costly; yet applying too little can be deadly. Developed by Halliday Technologies and marketed by Cargill Deicing Technology, the Real Time Traction Tool™ (RT3) continuously measures roadway friction and an optional GPS system can upload the information to a secured website that maps the real time conditions. This system helps provide more consistent deicing product management, and increased roadway safety.
